And the star, who has been a regular in the Street since the first episode in 1960, said of his dead wife Sara: \u201cI\u2019m absolutely thrilled to bits for her that she\u2019s gone home.\u201d<\/p>\n

What level-headed Ken would have made of it all is anyone\u2019s guess as Roache spilled out his oddest lines ever during his appearance Sky TV\u2019s The Moore Show.<\/p>\n

He told host Kevin Moore during the interview: \u201cThe Earth is a living being with consciousness and it has an understanding.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd just like we can become enlightened and raise our vibrational level into a higher spiritual level, the Earth can also do the same and this is what is happening.\u201d<\/p>\n

Britain\u2019s longest serving TV actor even went on to claim there was some truth in the latest doomsday date for the end of the world in a year\u2019s time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what all the prophecies about 2012 are.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately there are some cleansings that will have to take place where negative energy has to be discharged and these will be in the form of earthquakes, hurricanes, floods and tsunamis,\u201d said Roache.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe doom and gloom, as they are saying, is that December 21st, 2012, is the end of the Earth. It isn\u2019t, but it\u2019s the change and the end of a lot of things as we know them.\u201d<\/p>\n

After 2012, according to Roache, everything will become as clear as a pint of Rovers bitter. And in a speech that would have surely seen heads being scratched at the famous bar, he said: \u201cWe\u2019ll move into the golden age which will be a wonderful age where we\u2019ll all love.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll communicate telepathically, we\u2019ll all be aware of our spiritual selves, and it will be a beautiful place to be.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been happening really ever since day one but it\u2019s been speeding up recently because it\u2019s reaching its point when the actual ascension of the Earth will take place next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people who are sensitive will be aware of it whereas some people will just be aware of all the awful things that are going on \u2013 but we need to look at all the bad things as a glorious process of birth. We\u2019re going to be moving into this wonderful period where people will be more loving and more caring.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roache revealed his struggle to find happiness early on in his Coronation Street career was solved by a homeopathic doctor who was able to communicate with him while he slept.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat guy was able to appear on the astral plane, and come into a dream and actually speak to me that way,\u201d he said. \u201cNowadays spiritual things are more accepted and it\u2019s going to keep getting bigger. But when I started, these things were very unusual and you had to be careful who you talked to. People would get hostile.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roache told Moore spiritualism helped him deal with the death of his 18-month-old daughter Edwina in 1983.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had messages from Edwina saying her role in the spiritual realms is helping young babies who have gone over and are crying for their mummies,\u201d said Roache.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is able to help children in the spirit realm.\u201d He claimed it also helped him come to terms with the loss of his wife Sara, 58, in 2009. \u201cI can celebrate and rejoice for Sara,\u201d he said. \u201cI am absolutely thrilled to bits for her that\u2019s she\u2019s gone home. I don\u2019t worry about Sara as I know I will join her eventually.\u201d<\/p>\n
