Regina\u2019s mayor says despite a new study out of Alberta that shows a higher increase in cavities in cities that don\u2019t fluoridate their water, it\u2019s not a hot topic among voters.<\/p>\n

Michael Fougere says in Regina, people aren\u2019t asking for the city to start use fluroride. Saskatoon does fluoridate its water.<\/p>\n

Fougere says there seems to be lots of reports that say fluoride is good, and lots that say it is dangerous.<\/p>\n

Regina has held plebiscites on the issue in 1954, 1958 and 1985, and each time voters have rejected fluoride.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
