Two days of archaeological dowsing on the Roman site at Hill Farm, Gestingthorpe, Essex.<\/p>\n

Previous dowsing surveys have revealed a number of buildings set around an already excavated Roman villa; two large buildings that were dowsed and surveyed may be aisled barns (these are quite rare and difficult to locate through normal archaeological means), other buildings discovered are probably domestic buildings which served the villa.<\/p>\n
