Oculus joins with VR filmmakers Felix & Paul

Oculus is affirming its commitment to making virtual reality movies, after signing a deal with Canadian company Felix & Paul Studios. 

“Movies”, we’ll admit, might be a bit of a stretch. When Oculus Story Studio unveiled its first foray into film earlier this year at the Sundance Festival, it delivered the five-minute-long computer generated Lost, which changed in length according to the viewer’s reactions. The short, directed by former Pixar animator Saschka Unseld, was definitely more of an “experience”. and this is likely to be where the future of Oculus VR films lies for now.
