The world’s best whisky is being sent to the International Space Station to test the effect of microgravity on the ageing process.
Japanese brewing and distilling company Suntory is sending samples of six of its whiskies into space on board a shuttle departing for the ISS on 16 August. Suntory’s Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask was named the best whisky in the world in the 2015 World Whisky Bible.
