Day One, 21st May:
• Tour around the 11th century Bolsover Castle home of the Cavendish family.
• Experience the vast Terrace Range overlooking the Vale of Scarsdale.
• Visit the Fountain Garden, which was designed around the statue of Venus – goddess of love and pleasure – emerging from her bath.
• For the first time in almost 250 years you will be able to dowse along Bolsover Castle’s newly restored wall walk.
Day Two, 22nd May:
• Dowsing at “Old Hardwick Hall” – with an optional visit to the ‘new’ Hardwick Hall.
• Climb the stone steps of the Old Hall ruins to view the wonderful panorama.
• Discover more about Bess of Hardwick’s fascinating life – and her importance in Elizabethan history.
