Alternative places to follow tonight’s election coverage

The BBC’s Big Ben-style Swingometer is set to to go and David Mitchell is ready to take the reins over at Channel 4, but there will be so much more to this election night than rolling telly broadcasts.

It’s unlikely that people will turn off their televisions altogether in favour of just monitoring the GE2015 hashtag on Twitter, but you can bet that a significant number of those watching the results pour in later this evening will simultaneously engage with coverage on a second screen.

Here we’ve rounded up some alternative election coverage for you to keep your eye on while you’re watching Jeremy Vine dance around against a green screen.
