Theologians have never really addressed in a cogent manner the question of alien life and its relationship to the ancient Gods. The intellectual belief in alien life in the classical and western tradition is as old as the stars, so why the cynicism and derision in our own institutions of learning? In his lecture Pierre Sabak shows us the etymological and textual evidence not only of then existence and form of aliens, as seen through various ancient cultures, but also that there are people on this planet who know of these creatures’ existence and take their calling very seriously indeed.
