As we continue our journey with the sacred trees of this land, we come to the much revered tree of knowledge and world tree: the Ash. With its far reaching, protective branches touching the heavens and roots holding deeply into the earth, the Ash has long been seen as the axis mundi, or world tree, and was the bridge that connected the shamanic travellers with the many worlds.
