Lego has just announced a license to print money.
‘Lego Dimensions’ is the world’s largest toy company’s long-awaited take on the ‘toys to life’ category pioneered by Activision’s Skylanders, and latterly picked up by Disney Infinity and Nintendo’s Amiibo. A combination of physical toys and a somewhat traditional video game, the idea is to allow kids and toy-addicted adults to blur the line between the real and digital worlds. By placing special Lego Minifigs and bricks on a portal, the player will be able to warp their figures into their gameplay.
