Three developments in robotics this week have revealed the staggering rate of innovation. Two projects from MIT and one from Stanford show a hurdling robot cheetah, an origami robot that folds itself and runs away, and a robot that can perform brain surgery on a fruit fly. Here are three things robots can do this week that they couldn’t do last week. The future is here already.
