One of WIRED’s biggest criticisms in our review of Rock Band 4 was a lack of innovation; the game was just too similar to its predecessors.
That seems set to be addressed next year though, as developer Harmonix has revealed the game will be coming to virtual reality in the form of Rock Band VR in 2016. The game will launch on Oculus Rift, though no firm release date has been revealed yet.
