The first four episodes of season five of Game of Thrones have been leaked weeks before broadcast in one of the most prominent leaks . Perhaps unsurprisingly, the biggest number of downloads so far have been seen from the UK — where the season premiere was set to be broadcast 19 hours after 170 other countries.
The four episodes of the show were first spotted by BitTorrent trackers being shared privately, before showing up on more public torrent sharing sites. According to TorrentFreak, the episodes were probably leaked after review copies were sent out to journalists.
